El arte algorítmico es una forma de creación donde el artista no produce una obra única de forma manual, sino que diseña el sistema que la genera. En lugar de pinceladas, se utilizan funciones matemáticas, lógica de programación y estructuras de datos para definir un lenguaje visual. Es la intersección exacta entre el diseño sistemático y la intuición artística.

Bajo esta premisa, en Rodriguin Studio no parto de un lienzo vacío. Mi proceso consiste en escribir un sistema de reglas específico para cada colección —un algoritmo propio— que establece las fronteras de un universo estético.

Ese código es mi herramienta. Pero no es estático: es un instrumento que debo aprender a tocar. A diferencia de la Inteligencia Artificial generativa, aquí no hay cajas negras. Todo es lógica construida por humanos. El código multiplica mi capacidad de probar variaciones, pero soy yo quien construye la herramienta y decide qué resultado merece ser materializado en el mundo físico.

That code is my tool. But it is not static: it is an instrument I must learn to play. Unlike generative AI, there are no black boxes here. Everything is logic built by humans. The code multiplies my ability to test variations, but I am the one who builds the tool and decides which result deserves to be materialized in the physical world.
